Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

This problem could be recreated 100% on my laptop:
1/ Go to youtube.com, hulu.com (or any site offer flash movie), play a flash movie.
2/ Open the second Firefox 3. Work fine.
3/ Open the third Firefox instant, all firefox instances hung with grey out window. Click close will have a "Force Quit" button to get of all Firefox.

It works fine with Firefox 2.

I change the subject to reflect the fact that it has nothing to do with Flash. I just tried to open 3 instances of Firefox 3 and it hung on the third one.

On another hand, I download the firefox 3.0 version from Mozilla page
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052912 Firefox/3.0

It works fine with many instances.

It could be something on my computer or it could be something related to Ubuntu build.

The same happens to me.
The settings of my computer are very similar to the OP's, except that it is a desktop computer, not a laptop.
All you need to recreate it is to open FireFox for a third time.

In my case the problem was fixed after upgrading to Firefox 3.0.5
