Aliasing a merged buddy should apply to container or all members, not one random member

Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

If I have several buddies who are the same person, and I merge them, and I then alias that merged buddy, I expect my chosen name to persist, whichever of the individual accounts is online. What actually seems to happen is that clicking "Alias..." on the container just picks one member to store the alias against, and then if that member is offline and others are online, the name of an online member is used instead, giving the impression that the my chosen alias has been lost. I think aliasing a merged buddy needs to either store the alias separately from the members, such that it applies to all of them, or simply apply the alias to all members.

Seen on karmic in pidgin 1:2.6.2-1ubuntu7.1

(N.B. Clicking "Alias" on the container only works when the container is collapsed.)

Forgot to unset incomplete in comment 11. Retested just now, definitely still happening in 1:2.7.3-1ubuntu3.2.
