Bug Description
I could come with a long rant about the computer field being male dominated, and
the open source/free software field being even worse. I will not do that right now.
But I would like the default icon of xscreensaver (i.e. the icon appearing next
to my user name when I have locked the screen) to be a less gendered figure than
today's bearded man. I don't find it offensive (after all, he does look a bit
like my husband), but this icon has certainly nothing to do with me and my user.
I don't have a beard and I will hopefully not have one for at least 50 years.
My suggestion is that the icon is changed to a more neutral figure. Removing the
beard [and for estetical values also the white dot on his chest] will probably
suffice.
Alternatively show no icon at all next to the username in xscreensaver (unless
the user herself has chosen one).
I promise to acknowledge you in my master thesis (you know, the one I should be
working at now...) if you fix this ;-) (I may also mention you if you don't fix
this, but then in a less positive way.)
