No easy way to navigate to search results

Binary package hint: gnomesword

I'm using Gnome Sword (2.2.3-1build2) under Hardy. When searching, you get the results in the "Verse list", but there is no way (that I can find) to view those verses besides manually navigating to them. I expect to be able to open a verse by double-clicking on it.

Gnomesword is no longer developed. It has been renamed into Xiphos see xiphos.org

I believe this issue is fixed in the new upstream release, I cannot reproduce it with Xiphos 3.0.

It is Ubuntu policy not to introduce new packages into old releases.

Crosswire packaging team is working on updating Sword, Xiphos, Bibletime and Bibledit in Debian and Karmic. But additionally we provide our packages for older releases. You can try our packages from the PPA https://edge.launchpad.net/~pkgcrosswire/+archive/ppa

We have Hardy - Karmic packages there.

Please comment on this bug if you are still experiencing this issue with the Xiphos package from the PPA.
