Bug Description
If you run gksudo nautilus and click on trash not only will nautilus freeze, but the system's memory will slowly be consumed until the computer is restarted. Killing nautilus and logging uot doesn't even work.

Same here, on different machines, (32/64bit) some new hardy 8.04 installations, some dist-upgrades from gutsy to hardy.
Closing the nautilus window with 'force quit' does not remove the misbehaving process, but sudo 'kill -9 <id>' works.
error is in hardy, gutsy was fine.
