Bug Description

Cannot use Xubuntu 8.04. I installed on a 1999 ACPI PC, and after a few minutes the mouse freezed and moved uncontrolled, then the panel collapsed. At last it wanted me to restart the system with the logout window -- the cancel button did not work.

The system is unusable.

launcspad, when you say that the "mouse was wrong," do you mean that the problem was resolved after you changed your mouse? should this bug report be closed? please advise. thanks!!

Yes, I'm terrible sorry: the mouse started to scroll the pointer to te upper right corner and clicked continously -- that's why the exiting dialog box didn't want to disappear. (TIP: the corner-pixels should be unsensible to avoid such errors.)
