Trying to move messages from inbox to other folders. They all go to trash and I have to move them back. Can't move to other folders.

Binary package hint: evolution

I cannot move messages from one folder to another. Each time I try they end up in the trash. Fortunately, it will let me move them back where they came from but, this is frustrating when trying to clean house and organize. This is Evolution 2.22.2 on Ubuntu 8.04.

thank you for your bug report, are you sure that they are not in the new folder as well? they are in the trash because the way evolution does the move is to do a copy and then move the source to the trash, this way things can't break in the middle of the copy
