Bug Description

If you set up Konqueror to work using double-clicks, then systemsettings should do the same. At
the moment systemsettings is always a single-click interface.

The mouse settings for single-click and double-click only affects the selection and opening of files and folders. It doesn't affect other system mouse clicks, like menus and icons on toolbars. System Settings is like that, and many other KDE apps behave this way too, like KControl (the original KDE Control Center). System Settings is not a Konqueror folder full of icons, therefore it doesn't behave like folders and files in Konqueror.

Thank you for the suggestion. If there are plans to change this behavior, the bug will be reopened.

I'm not using Kubuntu anymore, so I can't check the behavior of systemsettings, but if the interface is always single-click, then the mouse cursor should represent it at least (changing from a normal pointer to a hand for example).

You're right, there is no cursor change at all. This probably gives it more
of a "file manager" feel, leading to me thinking the behaviour was odd.

Cheers,

L.

OK, can anyone reopen the bug then please? A mouse cursor change should definitely be implemented.
