Bug Description
Maybe something like a “desktop mode” would be nice to have, i. e., start maki when tekka is started and shut it down when tekka is closed.
That way sushi could be used like traditional IRC clients.

there will be an option to close maki on tekka close.
startup is provided through dbus service file
