XDM authorization key matches an existing client

Binary package hint: xdm

After upgrade to Hardy many applications stopped starting without doing xhost + ..., adding localhost etc. in the xhost list doesn't help.

The desktop setup is dualhead Xinerama with latest ATI drivers (8.5).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? (ISOs are available from cdimage.ubuntu.com)

If it remains an issue, could you also attach a new /var/log/Xorg.0.log?

After an upgrade to Ubuntu 8.10 this problem disappeared, I don't know if it is still an issue on 8.04 but for me it is fixed.
