hardy: fast-user-switch-applet lock the screen when try to switch to (logged or notlogged-in) user

When i try to switch from user "userone" to a (logged or notlogged-in) user "usertwo" and after put the password for the user "usertwo" in the gdm login screen, gdm lock my screen and show me the popup with window's title: "userone" and with not clicckable buttons: "Leve message" | "Change user" | "Cancel" | "Unlock" (the same window to unlock the screen), that ask to put password for "userone"; when i put the password, gdm return to "userone".

deleting all .directories (to search a solution for another bug of my hardy -> https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/196263) in my home have solved this bug

When I select "Exit" then "Switch User" rather than "log out", the screen freezes and I have
to reboot. I believe its not a memory problem because I have 2 gig of RAM but
its anoying, so what I do is "log out" of user1 and then "log in" as user2.
