help! cant update my program after updated to ubuntu 8.04

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Usually my computer will updated the software automatically.
But now when i click on update, it wont functioning. It stop and even cant close it.
Why??? pls show the solution. thanks.

Dear mece_kho,

does the problem you describe relate to the Ubuntu Update Manager (under System->Administration)?

Why did you associate this bug with Firefox 3.0?

Please open a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal)
type the following 2 lines
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Let us know what are the error messages if any.
