Firefox 3 is very slow when I open some webpage

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I come from Vietname. When I open the webpage: www.dantri.com.vn or the webpage www.24h.com.vn, Firefox 3 become very slowly. When I check the number of memory that Firefox use, it use about 200Mbyte.
I use the version Ubuntu 8.04 - the Hardy Heron - released in April 2008. The firefox version is 3.0~rc1+nobinonly-Oubuntu0.8.04.1
When I navigate these pages on Windows Vista et Firefox 3.0 it is ok.

Firefox seems to do this on all but the most sparse web pages. Memory usage will shoot up 100% (during which time sound stutters and machine is unusable) until the page is fully loaded.
