Bug Description

Binary package hint: opensync-plugin-evolution

Presently, there is no professional reliable out-of-the-box sync mechanism for the iPhone 2 (nor for iPhone 1).

AFAIK, iPhone 1 uses iCal as a calendar, which uses standardized formats. iPhone 2 feature MS Exchange ActiveSync support.

This all sounds like it cannot be impossible to make it sync with Ubuntu. Would it be possible and legal to implement iPhone sync support into Ubuntu?
