Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Whenever I try to open or save a file, the file opens or is saved, but firefox crashes and has to be reopened. This wasn't an issue when I used beta5.

disable your addons in tools -> addons. especially the nightly testers
tools indicate that some extension you are running is bogus

Thanks for the heads up. Let us know which extension caused this (if
it wasnt enabled by nightly tester tools).

It seems "Prism for Firefox 0.2" extension was causing this. I installed it some time ago, but wasn't using it, just that it was enabled all the time. Now I have nightly tester tools enabled and prism disabled and everything works just fine.

we have a prism package that has a far higher version than 0.2 in our
archive and ship a bunch of prebundled webapps.

try

apt-cache search prism

to get the selection.
