Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Steps to reproduce:
- Open firefox and play any flash-based movie on any site like youtube.
- Now try to play any movie with mplayer.
- The movie will show, will play several frames, then pause, you can skip frames but it will be "paused" and it isn't possible to "unpause" it.

Expected results:
The movie will be played with mplayer.

The problem exists until the tab with flash is closed. This problem can be reproduced with other players like totem.

this is a dupe of a known issue that manifests itself in multiple
packages. firefox is not the problem though.

 status invalid

flashplugin is one of those packages.

Installing libflashsupport seems to resolve the issue.

Remember that it causes plenty of crashes. So unless you are on amd64,
you probably dont want it.

Actually it's quite stable for me on x86. Even if it crashes sometimes I prefer having unstable functionality than not having it at all.

Fixed in Flash 10 betas (1 and 2). You will need to use the pulse pcm+ctl type. See bug 192888.
