Bug Description

This package and the network-manager gnome package will not install via sudo apt-get, aptitude, or the Synaptic package manager. The only result is an error message stating that ¨E: network-manager: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127 and E: network-manager-gnome: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured.

I am using UbuntuStudio 8.04

I reinstalled Ubuntu 8.04 and the problem was resolved.

Reassigning, that's because network-manager 0.6.6-0ubuntu5 fails to install:

Setting up network-manager (0.6.6-0ubuntu5) ...
 * Reloading system message bus config...
   ...done.
 * Restarting network connection manager NetworkManager
/usr/sbin/NetworkManager: error while loading shared libraries: libnl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing network-manager (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127
