nondeterministic crash

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Firefox 3 RC2 (3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1) crashes nondeterministically but often (on my desktop machine). One site that causes the crash often (cca. once every 5 visits) is gmail. (It seems to work just fine on my laptop.)

I have attached a log obtained with strace: It crashed when trying to visit gmail, I restarted with "strace firefox", chose to start from where it was before the crash, and it crashed again.

Those repositories seem to not have debug symbols for the firefox version I have:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  firefox-3.0-dbgsym: Depends: firefox-3.0 (= 3.0~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1) but 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 is to be installed
  xulrunner-1.9-dbgsym: Depends: xulrunner-1.9 (= 1.9~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1~8.04.2) but 1.9+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

I could try to force installation of firefox-3.0 (= 3.0~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1) (but that would be a different --- older? ---version than the one that crashes now). Attached is some info on the packages that I see.

those symbols should be available by now.
