Bug Description
I installed the RC2 version, updated it and installed some KDE programs.
Rebooting would not procede past login. Reinstallation and installation the new
release package would not succeed until I reformatted the /home directory.
Error messages included the following:
_IceTransTransN
_IceTransmkdir: Error: eud != 0, directory /dev/x will not be created
_IceTransmkdir: Error: cannot create directory
_IceTransPTSOpe
