Bug Description
The following patch removes unwanted console output and makes life easier for (console) application developers that want to have the control of what's going on on the screen. A better approach for error message delivery should be implemented.

Thanks for helping make libmms better! I've found myself unable to give libmms the love and care it needs, so I've passed maintainership over to Hans de Goede who has chosen to maintain the project on SourceForge instead of Launchpad.
