Killing pulseaudio sends pidgin to 100% CPU

Bug Description

After doing a killall pulse audio, an already open pidgin reports through top a CPU % 99 until it is kill and restarted.

Running Hardy with all latest updates.

Thanks for the report. Is this bug still reproducible?

If you turn sound of in pidgin (Preferences > Sounds > No Sounds), is the bug reproducible then?
