Bug Description

Binary package hint: audacity

After completing a long 8-hour long recording, I unplugged the USB audio device and saved the project. When I opened the project, the data was totally stuffed!

! I was recording a single channel at 22050kHz

When I uninstalled Audacity 1.3 and tried to install Audacity 1.2 stable, it wouldn't let me, saying that a more recent version is already installed!

What am I doing wrong????

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue
for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release (Jaunty)? Thanks in advance.
