Bug Description

Binary package hint: inkscape

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the undo history and layers dialogs.
2. Dock them into a single dialog with undo history below layers.
3. Hit F12 to toggle docks.

Inkscape will pop up the internal error dialog and close. I managed to reproduce this several times in a row.

A pre-release of the upcoming Inkscape 0.47 is now available in Ubuntu
Karmic for testing. Because *so* much stuff has changed compared with
the version you reported your bug against, would you mind re-testing
this new version and see if this bug is now resolved?

Karmic Alpha CD ISO images are available at:

  http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/karmic/

If you're not testing Karmic yet, there are .debs of this new Inkscape
for Jaunty, Hardy, and Intrepid here:

  https://launchpad.net/~inkscape.testers/+archive/ppa

You might find further bugs when testing this alpha release. If that is
the case, please file a NEW bug report here:

   https://edge.launchpad.net/inkscape/+filebug

Thanks ahead of time for your testing efforts, and enjoy the new Inkscape!

I am unable to reproduce this bug with karmic alpha 4, following the steps listed above. I have tried this using the two dialogs docked within the main inkscape window and within a floating window. Hopefully, it can be considered fixed?

I was unable to reproduce the bug, so hopefully it has been fixed in the latest development release of Inkscape. Please reopen it if you can give us the missing information, and don't hesitate to submit bug reports in the future.
