Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You've already filed this as bug 236989, so I am marking this as duplicate. Please follow the instructions there, which I will repeat and add to here to file a new more useful report:
Edit the file /etc/default/apport and change the line enabled=0 to enabled=1 apport/ apport- qt --crash- file=/var/ crash/_ my_crash_ report. crash report. crash is the crash you would like to report.
Next time this crash happens, you should get a .crash file in /var/crash/
You can then file the crash using
/usr/share/
in a terminal - where _my_crash_
The process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. If you do not get a .crash file after enabling apport, please tell us here. In that case, please install these packages:
kdebase-dbg
kdebase-dbg-kde4
libxine1-dbg
and post a new backtrace here, as an attachment. In the future please use attachments instead of pasting backtraces into the description or comment.
