I am new to Ubuntu, just downloaded and installed the latest version and tried to use Update Manager for the first time and got this message
"The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <email address hidden>

What to do?

Hi Shaun

Can you try going to update manager > preferences > authentication > restore default keys, and seeing if that changes anything?

If it's still a problem, can you go to a command line, and run "sudo aptitude update" followed by "sudo aptitude upgrade" and attach the output here. This will do the same process that update manager does, but with more text output.

Changed to update manager since it didnt like package name as ubuntu

This isnt a Firefox bug thats why i moved task package. my post i wanted to use wasnt rmembered in LP
