Kopete crash when activate text effects

When text effects is activate and try to send message kopete crash , kde 4 beta1 kubuntu hardy amd64

So it makes the KDE3 and KDE4 versions of Kopete crash? The "Kopete" package is the KDE3 package, by the way.

When activated complement the effect of text and sends a message, kopete closes quickly.

But right now you assigned the bug to 2 packages, kdenetowrk-kde4 (where kopete-kde4 lives) and the kopete package which is the KDE3 version of Kopete. Does this crash happen with Kopete-kde3 and kopete-kde4?

Since you are using the KDE4 version of Kopete, and since even the KDE3 version of Kopete has moved in to kde3's kdenetwork since dapper, I'll invalidate the bug in the kopete package.

I use kde 4.1 beta1, error gave me with kopete in kde 4.1 beta1, but I participate in the forum (www.kubuntu-es.org) users reported the same problem with kde 3.5.9

Where do you enable these text effects? I can't find them in kopete-kde4.

In Intrepid the kde4 version of kopete is in the kdenetwork package.
