Compiz: While delivering a slide show, the screen turns black if I open a context menu

While Compiz is running, and I start a slide show and open a context menu with a right click, the screen turns simply black, except the context menu.

Oh, what happened there? Somehow I reported this buck twice? No, sorry, Bug #238593 is a much more detailed description. I'll try to mark this as a duplicate, if I can.. Did not want to cause more work than necessary, my fault.

Oh my god, horrible day. This is quite another bug :( Just realized, must have to do with my allergy.
I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, Nvidia restricted drivers on a GeForce 8400M GS (the one shipped with the Dell Linux XPS 1330)
However, the environment was the same like this one (taken from the bug I mixed up with this one):

Thanks for the bug report. Could you please confirm if this is occuring with Ubuntu 8.10 or the 9.04 beta?

I'm also getting this bug, in ubuntu 9.04.

If I right click on a slide show, I get the context menu but the slide is replaced with my wallpaper.

affecting two different machines with 9.04 (one nvidia, one ati)

doesn't occur if compiz is turned off.
