In Thunderbird: After highlighting an item, and then attempting to select further items to add to the highlighted selection using Ctrl +left click, unable to select multiple emails using control + left click; same with trying to select multiple addressees.

Using Ubuntu 8.04 & Thunderbird 2.0.0.14

Previously using Ubuntu 6.06, when highlighting emails, and the using Ctrl +left click on another email, the second email was highlighted also.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.
