Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Firefox closed correctly but while next launch it says firefox already running! So I delete lock and .parentlock files on ~/mozilla/firefox/<uniqe.id>/ directory. and restart firefox. Now it doesn't load the homepage automatically at the start and as I go on browsing the address bar doesn't update as I go to a new webpage. Even for this page it shows only google.com at the address bar (which is what I typed at the launch).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
