problem with find text function

find text does not work stops after searching only 4% of text. some text could not be found even though they are in the text

Thanks for reporting this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Does this happen only with one particular file, or does that happen with every file.

If it happens with a particular file, is this file OpenCommons or something like that, that it could be uploaded here?

The problem seems to appear in PDF format files.

the problems after I switch to another window.

when I come back to the PDF file. the search bar disappears.

I press con-F and it reappears.

that when the search function malfunctions.

sometimes the bar will search bar will stop at 4%
sometimes the bar will say that 0 instances of the text is found even if it is there
