Bug Description

i have a logitech bluetooth headset which i used with hoary.
So, now i have breezy and i couldnt connect to the bluetooth headset:

 # btsco 00:0D:44:0C:06:5D
 Device is 1:0
Failed to connect to SDP server: Permission denied
 Assuming channel 2
 Voice setting: 0x0060
Can't connect RFCOMM channel: Permission denied

To solve the problem you have to delete the following file and restart blue-utils
rm /etc/bluetooth/link_key

i found this solution here:
http://wiki.teemow.com/index.php/Logitech_Bluetooth_Headset_Mobile_F-0179A

I think its a bug ;)

This bug is quite old. Is it still an issue now in anything newer than Breezy?

Old, but I'm still experimenting the same issue on Gutsy:

:~$ btsco -v 00:0D:44:3B:F1:1E
btsco v0.42
Device is 2:0
Error: Failed to connect to SDP server: Permission denied
Assuming channel 2

Voice setting: 0x0060
Can't connect RFCOMM channel: Permission denied

My Headset is a Nokia one.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
