Opening a file via Places/Recent Documents from an unmounted volume causes file-not-found

Ubuntu 8.04

I tried to open a txt from an unmounted NTFS volume via Places/Recent Documents. Gedit started a new file instead of mounting the partition and opening the existing file.

thank you for your bug report, it's not really possible for gedit to mount drives though, how was mounted your ntfs volume?
