Bug Description

This issue arose after I ran the automatic update ap in 7.1 and installed all updates. We can access the samba share on a fat 32 drive but the permissions are locked at read only. The permissions will not change via the File Browser properties.

No the share was set up as really simple, and was always accessed via a login. Interestingly, I installed 8.04 and mistakenly fully updated everything before testing the share - and had the same result.

This issue was still present as of 2008-06-12 with all automatic updates installed. I had to temporarily retire the machine and moved the affected drive to another computer. I will retest asap and post the result.
