Bug Description
Binary package hint: initramfs-tools
I just updated from gutsy to hardy, after rebooting my system wasn't able to read the root-partition.
This is caused by the changes in the kernel-
My current setup:
/etc/initramfs-
-------
MODULES=list
-------
/etc/initramfs-
-------
ide_disk
via82cxxx
ext3
# for changed kernel-drivers
pata-via
sd_mod
-------
Maybe ist's not common to to use "MODULES=list" but at least a warning should be displayed to the user to verify the content of "/etc/initramfs
Perhaps the file "/etc/modules" needs to be checked / updated also.
