Please attach that file directly. URLs are known to become invalid at
some point, while attachments tend to stay forever :)

hmm .. please attach your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and your
/var/log/Xorg.0.log after reproducing this too.

Please try to disable

Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"

and see if the free nvidia driver helps (e.g. "nv").

Hi,
I disabled the Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True", but nothing changed.

I formated and reinstalled Ubuntu 8.04 with nvidia drivers, and now the "problem" seems to be gone.

I really don't know what was wrong with my xorg configuration. But the problem didn't seem to be in firefox.

Sorry for my report that was wrong.

hi, do you know if you had hardy-proposed archive enabled when seeing this? Further, do you remember if the rendering bug started on the day you filed this bug?

Hi,

I think that hardy-proposed archive was enable, but I am not 100% sure. But I am sure the bug started the day I reported it. Actually, I've seen it for the first time the day I reported it.
