thunderbird stopped downloading messages

I am trying to download messages from gmail, it has downloaded messages up until May 23rd, and now it will no longer show any more messages.

Did you add any addons just before you saw this issue? Did you upgrade
the version from repos just before you saw this? Can you please move
your profile for Thunderbird and start it with a new profile and see if
it happens now since its same version i am trying to count out a profile
issue

Is this an IMAP or POP3 account settings? Please make sure your settings
in account settings havent changed
