Thanks for your bugreport.

What terminal window is that? gnome-terminal? How do you set it to transparent? With compiz? Or is that a setting in the terminal window?

Hello,

Yes, It's a gnome-terminal. I must say, everything is by default, it's ubuntu 8.04, compiz was installed during installation process. I had to install only nvidia drivers to activate Extra visual effects.
Additional info: This problem is with ubuntu on my laptop Dell Vostro 1400(I had reinstall, but result was the same), but on my desktop PC(The same version of Ubuntu)there is no this problem with transparent =(

p.s. sorry for my bad english

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 9.04? Thanks in advance.
