Bug Description
it would be REALLY great if the linuxsampler conundrum could be fixed. 64studio is, I guess, a better choice for a better audio studio distro. I'm going in circles learning about 'how to install linuxsampler'. some unresolved problem with licensing I guess. too many "do this, UNLESS....", too many programmy hacks.
so, should I be using libgig6, or libgig? or is this just leading me on to believe I won't have to compile, tweak confg files, etc., ad nauseum....
I'm a big fan for linux, I LOVE the concepts & principles, but alas, I cannot recommend it to 'normal people' until things like 'install-apt get' work for all applications. I guess I'm asking too much
I guess I just need to go to programming school so I can compile from source....
