Confirmed.

Squid3-head (3.1) should have ipv6 enabled in the ubuntu and debian packages.

Squid 3.1 is currently in beta. Testers are welcome, of course. But maybe getting it into a release is still a bit risky.
More testers, less risk :D

My PPA now contains beta squid3 packages with IPv6 support and other new 3.1 feature enabled. Some features require a 2.6.28+ kernel so only Jaunty and later are provided.

There are still bugs to be worked out of 3.1, but they seem to work for me so far.

Happy testing.

Amos - the Squid packages in your PPA work as expected.

The Squid packages in Jaunty still appear to have broken IPv6 connectivity.

Well, 3.1 has been out for months now. It's in Debian but failing to migrate to maverick for some reason out of our control.

Meanwhile my PPA is being kept up with the Debian release.

Sorry, but "being kept up" I mean it has builds of the exact same package as Debian Squeeze. Built for Jaunty, Karmic, Lucid.
