Auto playing music file won't stop when deleted

Bug Description

In Ubuntu 8.04 there is a smart auto play feature that lets you hear any music file by holding your mouse over it.

I just did that, but when it was still playing I deleted the file with the Delete key. The file wasn't moved to my trash, it just disapeared and the music kept playing. I had no way to stop it other than restarting or shutting down the system.

I tried it one more time just to be sure; the same thing happened again. I use VLC to play audio files, but I don't think it has anything to do with the music player. I think this bug is for all music files that can auto play in Ubuntu (ie. wav can't).

I don't have the problem like that, it's impossible to delete the file when it is been playing, even when I pressed the delete key, the file isn't deleted, this is because when you move the mouse (even a little movement) the music will stop to play

I use Audacious 1.5.0 for the default player

Then it may be because of my music default player, VLC.
