Bug Description

I have compiz fusion (version 1:0.7.4-0ubuntu6) enabled on kubuntu 8.04, when alt-space is pressed katapult (version 0.3.2.1-3) does not start. Instead the window management menu will be displayed for the current application that has focus. When I removed compiz fusion and restarted the X server katapult will start when alt-space is pressed.

Hi there.

This is due to a conflict in Accelerators, unfortunately, if the accellerator is already in use, Katapult cannot use it.

Marking this as "Won't Fix" as this is a configuration issue.

However, if you run the command

dcop katapult Katapult showLauncher

and then hit ctrl+c - the configuration menu should show - select "Configure Global Shortcuts" here and then change the "Show Launcher" key shortcut.

Changed in katapult:
status: New → Won't Fix
