Always starts with previous windows and tabs

Firefox 3 Beta 5 (3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3), Ubuntu 8.04, always starts showing previous windows and tabs, despite preferences set to "Show a blank page"

Most likely you dont close firefox properly (without confirming the
dialog that asks if you want to save all tabs) before shutting down
your system.

Alternatively you could close all tabs before shutting down.
