Bug Description

After the upgrade from 2.6.24-16 to 2.6.24-17 the system doesn't wake up from suspend2ram.

With 2.6.24-16 there was no problem.

I get following output after running echo 1 > /sys/power/pm_trace; /etc/acpi/sleep.sh force:

[ 12.407168] Magic number: 0:968:196

Still the same behavior with today's kernel-update to 2.6.24-18

Hi pittipatti,

This looks like a duplicate of bug 226279 so I'm marking it as such. I believe the upcoming -19 kernel in hardy-proposed should resolve this for you. If you could test and provide feedback in that report, it would be great.

Per a decision made by the Ubuntu Kernel Team, bugs will longer be assigned to the ubuntu-kernel-team in Launchpad as part of the bug triage process. The ubuntu-kernel-team is being unassigned from this bug report. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies for more information. Thanks.
