Bug Description
I am unable to print, unable to use my wireless card and many of my links and pictures do NOT open.
I guess until Linux is more user friendly I am unable to continue my quest to be a users.
It seems to be a rock solid system JUST not user app friendly enough.
Good luck to you all.
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
when i go into SYSTEM TAB, from across the top tool bar and then scroll to ADMINISTRATION, scroll to AUTHORIZATIONS or USERS AND GROUPS it doesn't allow me to change anything. The OS will not allow me to view my external hard drive. The error I get is unable to mount drive, or access not allowed.
As of today I loaded Ubunto 8.04 for the first time and there are no other users.
Help would be appreciated,
Tony

You have to click the Unlock button at the bottom of the window in order to change anything. It will ask for your password, so type it in, then you can change the configuration. You need to be a member of the "admin" group to do this (to use sudo/gksudo), which you should be since you are using the first username setup on the system.
