Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Whenever I try to export some oowriter file to pdf (by File -> Export as Pdf -> Export OR by clicking the symbol on the toolbar) the file-chooser dialog ist blank (only window, no widgets or buttons). This sometimes also happens when I try to open or save a file in oowriter. It seems that in maybe 10% of the cases the dialog appears after a few seconds.

Thanks for any advice.

I found out that when i left-click into the area where the "Places" Box is supposed to be the dialog appears.
Could this be a common Gnome problem instead of being openoffice specific?
