Thanks for the report. We should investigate, which setting is used to
determine the "Get me out of here" redirect. Most likely its a
different setting that just happens to point to the same page as the
original hardy homepage

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Intrepid Ibex. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

I am using Ubuntu 8.10 and Firefox 3.0.5

Could you give me the address of a "Reported Attack Site" (maybe a dummy page) so that I can test this?

This is still an issue with an up to date Ubuntu 9.10 (firefox:3.5.5+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.10.1). A site to reproduce is "http://gumblar.cn/".

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. This was decided upstream that the button should always go to the Firefox start page and not the home page or in our case, the Ubuntu Start Page. Please report any other bugs you may find.

summary: "Reported Attack Site" page: "Get me out of here!" button still directs
