Bug Description

Binary package hint: freespeak

I installed freespeak just to try it out. It seems like a program that were not updated for a long time. Anyway, it could be cool and still available at ubuntu repos, so it should be working.

When a open a terminal window and type freespeak and run the program, everything works fine.
I just got this messages that doesn't seem serius:

/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/freespeak/freespeak.py:359: GtkDeprecationWarning: gtk.threads_init is deprecated, use gtk.gdk.threads_init instead
  gtk.threads_init()
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/freespeak/freespeak.py:375: GtkDeprecationWarning: gtk.threads_enter is deprecated, use gtk.gdk.threads_enter instead
  gtk.threads_enter()

But when I launch the program through menu or Alt+F2, it launches, then I click New the program stops responding...

And I have to close it....

Should have been fixed upstream with version 0.3.0.
