We'll do some experimenting, for the meantime, just use Firefox. Thanks
for the report!

Update with the latest patch, http://kyleosborn.com/phpns/patches/2.2.3.patch.zip
And then let us know how it works.
Could you be a bit more descriptive, though? A common issue is that the buttons will become disabled, but they will not actually work.

I have tried the 2.2.3 patch, but it still won't work with Safari (3.1.2). When I try to press the "Save article" button, it becomes grey, and nothing happens.. I really don't know anything more about the problem, but if you wan't me to try anything, I would be happy to. I'm using Firefox for now, but I would like to use Safari also..

Yes, Safari is still having issues with phpns. I'm not sure why. We don't have a Mac (or Windows) to try the browser out, so it will likely never be supported unless someone wants to make a patch for it. Possibly you. =)

I believe it has something to do with onclick versus onsubmit being used to disable the submit button elements. I'm working on fixing this issue for my site. I'll let you know what happens.

Perhaps switching to CodeMirror (http://marijn.haverbeke.nl/codemirror/) would be worthwhile?

I have a solution to the problem that you can't post.

You propably wont be able to generate code if you click the Generate Code button under the Generate Code tab?
Non of the buttons under preferences work unless you use firefox?

The sollution is to search in inc/function.php and preferences.php after onclick="javascript:document.getElementById(\'submit\').disabled=true"
and delete this every time.

When you save the files and try to post something or to change a setting, it will work :D

Now PHPNS works with Safari and also Internet Explorer.

Tested with phpns 2.2.3 on Safari 4.0.2 and Internet Explorer 7.
