Bug Description
When using wxBanker in Ubuntu, the date control is sometimes hidden (see attached screenshot). I have noticed it before; sometimes it would be gone and a few days later would work again. I don't know if it has to do with the date, but this time it has been gone for a week or two. It always displays fine on Windows XP, however.
It isn't CRITICAL since you can still make transactions, it will just assume the current date. You can then edit the date in the grid to be whenever you like. However, it should certainly work in a release.

I am going to un-milestone this for 0.1 since it is hard to duplicate and I want to get a release out; when it comes back I will address it.
