Uninstalling ubuntustudio-menu does not restore original .menu file

Bug Description

This to inform the ubuntustudio package team of a bug when the ubuntustudio-menu package are removed no "Applications" menu items are show.

I think this bug is fairly important. I haven't had an applications menu for several weeks now (I'm comfortable with the command line, but that's not necessarily the case for all users). Judging from the alacarte bug report mentioned above I believe there are several people in the same position.

Fairly certain this 10-year-old bug is fixed considering -menu doesn't overwrite any files and apt is very good about removing the higher-priority files for xdg menus that are contained within -menu.
